5 Positive Affirmations You Can Say NOW!
For when she wakes she shall move mountains….
It’s no secret this past week (or two) have been a bit rough for me emotionally, physically and all the other ‘allys’ there could be. What a better way to combat this than with positive affirmations! I have found many inspiring quotes from my Compete journal that have really resonated with me and I wanted to share a few of my favorites. I can’t wait to order my new one for 2018! Something about a fresh journal that gets’s me pumped up to rock new goals. If there’s one thing pregnancy and marathon training have taught me it’s that for every rough patch the glorious days are that much brighter! Funky moods are only temporary as long as you acknowledge your emotions, allow them to sit for a minute, then come back with a positive action plan! You are NOT stuck in your misery.
5 Positive Affirmations you can say right now! Discouraged? You NEED to read these out loud!run & tweet!
Here’s 5 of my favorite quotes:
1.) “Turn down the volume of fear and turn up the volume of confidence and resilience.” (Compete Journal page 67.) The voices in our head can make or break us. Pick your volume levels wisely.
2.) “…So focus and keep aiming.” When I find myself in the midst of difficulties I find it’s best if I choose to focus on the task at hand, be extra kind to my body, and then I’ll have much more peace. With more peace and rest comes a better prepared mind and body for the next big thing in your life. Trust the process and don’t shy away from a little tension.
3.) “I didn’t promise easy. I promised it’d be worth it. Embrace the challenge. Reap the rewards.” Every good thing that’s worth while is going to put you under some fire and trials. Roll up your sleeves and be prepared to work.
4.) “The struggle is not pointless–a better you lies ahead.” – Jenny Simpson, Olympian Middle-Distance Runner (Compete Journal page 183)
5.) Simply put: “I MUST.” – Jess
When the going gets tough sometimes the only thing that keeps me going is the fact that I simply must keep working and not lose heart. Check out 2 Corinthians 4:16…”Therefore we do not lose heart. Though outwardly we are wasting away, yet inwardly we are being renewed day by day.”
Feels good to feel more like myself today…
Do any of these quotes resonate with you currently? When you’re in a funk do you have a favorite affirmation you can pull out of your positivey arsenal?
