#MondayMotivation Run Through with a Heavy Heart
I follow OISELLE on Strava and they post Monday Motivation posts. This one, in particular, I wanted to share because of recent events both nationally and personally. You’ve probably heard about Vegas and other major events (hurricane damage…etc) but, then there’s also the major events in each of our own personal lives. Last week was particularly tough for me for a number of reasons. Reasons I won’t bore you with (side note: all is well! Baby is healthy. Kid, D, is happy and whole. Marriage is beautiful. Just in case anyone wanted to know.). However, I chose to run through the heaviness. Sometimes that had to be forced on a treadmill in the dusty basement and sometimes that meant running in the warm rain. But, I always feel like a better human after my run. May I encourage you no matter what life circumstances that you are going through continue to work through them with a good run, walk, swim, bike ride, yoga, meditation or whatever your preferred method of movement is. Work through it. Find peace. Give thanks in all circumstances.
