#MotivationalMonday One Foot In Front of the Other
The struggle is real.
Running is hard.
Being sidelined with an injury is hard.
Parenting is hard.
Cancer is hard.
Family crises are hard.
Depression is hard.
Life is hard.
There’s a lot of ‘hard’ things.
But, you CAN do hard things. You can climb that mountain. You were created for such a time as this. Press on. One foot in front of the other.
One day at a time.
If you’re struggling today know you’re more than that hard thing in your life. Reach out. Join a support group
( I did for breastfeeding and I’m confident that’s the only reason I’m still doing it), reach out and call a friend or loved one, look at all the amazing things you already have in your life.
If you have breathe in your body then you have hope.
And if you’re not struggling with anything hard currently be a beacon of light to those who are. Hold a hand. Answer the phone. Give free hugs. Pray for one another. Do some chores to help out a new mom or an senior who’s struggling. Sit with the injured runner and let them know they’re still a runner no matter what.
That’s the beautiful thing about the running community.
Eternal hope and optimism. ❤
One foot in front of the other.
You must stand.
“For if you remain silent at this time, relief and deliverance for the Jews will arise from another place, but you and your fatherʼs family will perish. And who knows but that you have come to your royal position for such a time as this?””
